Here is what I know after 26 years of doing this: most people don't actually want a decorator. They want someone who gets them. Who walks into their space and already understands what it needs before they finish explaining it. Who has a real perspective and isn't afraid to use it.

That is a very different thing to hire. And it is exactly what The Atelier is.

I started this studio because I believe design is art. Not a service, not a transaction, not a Pinterest board brought to life. Art. And your home deserves to be treated like that. It is where your actual life happens. It should feel like you, the full version of you, not some edited-for-company version.

So that is what we build here. Spaces that feel collected and intentional and specific to the person living in them. Rooms that have a story. Homes that feel like someone with taste and confidence made real choices, because they did.

On the design side, I work with clients who are ready to trust the process. The ones who want to hand it over and know it is in good hands. If you have been looking for a designer who will actually lead, who will push you toward something better than what you came in with, that is what we do.

Then there is the shop. My dream space, curated by yours truly. Everything in it is something I would put in my own home or specify for a client without thinking twice. Come for the candles, stay for the conversation. That is pretty much how it goes.
